[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gyeongbuk Technopark held a performance report meeting on the 7th at the Green Enterprise Support Center's main conference room located in Yeongcheon City.
The event was attended by about 50 people, including Hong Jin-geun, head of the Corporate Attraction Division of Yeongcheon City, project stakeholders, and beneficiary companies, who presented and exhibited the 2022 project performance.
The performance report meeting proceeded in the order of ▲ introduction of next year's follow-up projects ▲ guidance on support projects of the Green Enterprise Support Center ▲ special lecture on trends of national public projects in 2023 ▲ listening to corporate opinions for next project planning.
The "Yeongcheon City Small and Medium Enterprise High Value-added Conversion Promotion Support Project (hereinafter referred to as the High Value-added Conversion Promotion Project)" and the "Yeongcheon City Small and Medium Enterprise Innovative Technology Development Support Project (hereinafter referred to as the Innovative Technology Development Project)" have been conducted annually since 2019 with an investment of 1 billion KRW from Yeongcheon City's budget.
The Gyeongbuk TP Green Enterprise Support Center provided support programs such as process improvement-type technology development, prototype development, on-site application of process improvement-type technology, prototype production, and marketing for small and medium manufacturing enterprises with 30 or more regular employees located in Yeongcheon City under the High Value-added Conversion Promotion Project. Under the Innovative Technology Development Project, it supported scale-up R&D, prototype commercialization, prototype production, testing and certification, patent application, and export logistics costs for small and medium enterprises with fewer than 30 regular employees located in Yeongcheon City.
In particular, this year, restrictions on program applications were removed, and customized support reflecting corporate demand was provided to improve accessibility for companies and expand participation opportunities.
Additionally, in the technology development (R&D) field, active utilization of experts was encouraged to enhance understanding of technology development tasks, thereby laying a foundation for small and medium enterprises in the Yeongcheon area to undertake government technology development projects.
Ha In-seong, president of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, "Continuous technological innovation must precede to secure sustainable growth engines for small and medium enterprises," adding, "We will continue to spare no support for enhancing corporate competitiveness and growth through various support projects, including technology development support."
