[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] Kumho Construction and Asiana Airlines announced on the 8th that they have appealed the lawsuit filed by HDC Hyundai Development Company and Mirae Asset Securities against the two companies, involving a stock purchase agreement and other claims for confirmation of non-existence of contract repayment obligations and damages amounting to 251.49 billion KRW.
Earlier, on the 17th of last month, Kumho Construction and Asiana Airlines won the first trial in full regarding the lawsuit.
Kumho Construction stated, "We plan to actively respond through our legal representatives."
