The virtual reality experience center, ‘Sedae Gonggam Noliteo’ (Generational Empathy Playground), is scheduled to open on the 15th of this month in Noryangjin.
Sedae Gonggam Noliteo is a large-scale experience center with a leased area of approximately 2,400㎡, located at 7 Nodeul-ro 2-gil, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, in the Dreamsquare Complex Building (in front of Noryangjin Fish Market). Unlike other experience centers, it features 11 diverse themes, allowing couples, families, and people of all ages to enjoy various themed experiences together.
With the concept of ‘Together and Differently,’ Sedae Gonggam Noliteo is designed with spatial separation so visitors can enjoy the space either together or individually according to their preferences, ensuring no one spends a boring time.
The Toy Land is an exhibition hall where children can enjoy a variety of toys including expensive blocks, coding robots, drone experiences, and dancing robot experiences, providing both fun and educational benefits.
The music listening room, which holds 100,000 rare LP records, allows visitors to enjoy classic LPs tailored to their tastes through an Edison phonograph and large monitors.
Additionally, visitors can appreciate more than 300 works by painters and photographers, exhibitions of fascinating inventions by Edison, illustrations by webtoon artists reborn as media art, as well as enjoy photo zones, metaverse and augmented/virtual reality experiences, traditional royal court hanbok experiences, and various activities such as creating figurines using 3D printers.
Sedae Gonggam Noliteo also provides spaces for direct customer participation. Visitors can create their own figurines, and if they register their drawings for copyright, they can receive a certain amount of revenue based on usage. Furthermore, artworks are automatically submitted to competitions held by Sedae Gonggam Noliteo, where winners receive prize money and expert guidance, offering various opportunities for unknown artists to freely pursue their dreams.
