LINC 3.0 Project Group Hosts 'GU Challenge Up Startup Camp (Patent Camp)'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) has launched systematic support to discover and nurture competitive prospective entrepreneurs.
The Gwangju University LINC 3.0 Project Group recently announced on the 8th that it held the 'GU Challenge-Up Startup Camp (Patent Camp)' to revitalize entrepreneurship on campus and strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of enrolled students.
About 40 students from startup clubs and those aspiring to start a business participated in this startup camp.
In particular, the participating students derived ideas through STEEP analysis and proceeded with intellectual property rights applications by writing each section of the patent specification and preparing documents for electronic filing.
No Seonsik, head of the LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, "We operate various startup programs to nurture star entrepreneurs from enrolled students," adding, "We will especially strive to discover competitive prospective entrepreneurs by actively supporting intellectual property rights applications."
Meanwhile, Gwangju University operates startup clubs to discover technology-convergence type star entrepreneurs with global competitiveness, supporting activities for item development, mentoring, participation in on- and off-campus startup competitions, and startup camps.
