[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Gyeongnam National University ranked 15th nationwide in the ‘2022 Korea Top 1000 Companies CEO Alma Mater Ranking’.
According to the ‘Top 1000 Domestic Companies CEO Alma Mater Ranking’ recently announced by the global headhunting specialist company Unico Search, Gyeongnam National University produced a total of 8 CEOs, tying for 15th place with Chonnam National University. Among them, Gyeongnam National University was the only university from the Gyeongnam region to be listed.
CEOs who graduated from Gyeongnam National University include Baek Sang-don, CEO of Fursys; Kim Hyun-dong, CEO of Savezone I&C; Moon Jong-in, CEO of Korea Steel; and Lee Byung-gu, CEO of Nepes, totaling 8 individuals.
A representative of Gyeongnam National University said, “We were able to confirm the strength of the 150,000 alumni of Gyeongnam National University through this indicator.
