Jongho Park, Vice President of Hankook Tire & Technology (left), Jeongho Seo, Vice President of Hankook & Company [Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Seo Jeong-ho, Head of Future Strategy Office (Executive Director) at Hankook & Company, was promoted to Vice President in the year-end group regular personnel reshuffle, the company announced on the 8th.
Seo, who served as Head of the Future Strategy Office, was recognized for his achievements in formulating technology-based business strategies, planning new businesses, developing overseas operations, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leading to his promotion, the company said. Following this promotion, he is expected to lead inorganic growth through investment projects in advanced industrial sectors, including synergy with the group’s main business, tires. Additionally, two more executives were promoted to Managing Director.
Park Jong-ho, Head of Purchasing Division (Executive Director) at Hankook Tire & Technology, was also promoted to Vice President. Despite challenging conditions such as soaring maritime freight and raw material prices, Park contributed to enhancing the competitiveness of the purchasing division by establishing strategic partnerships with global shipping companies and securing new raw material supply chains. After his promotion to Vice President, he will be in charge of the Korea Business Headquarters. Besides them, four Executive Directors, six Managing Directors, and nine Deputy Managing Directors were promoted in this personnel reshuffle. Below is the list of promotions.
