Gokseong-gun Successfully Holds Export Consultation Meeting with Overseas Permanent Store Operators

Strengthening Export Companies' Competitiveness by Providing Various Export Opportunities

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-sun] Jeonnam Gokseong-gun (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that the "Gokseong-gun - Overseas Permanent Store Operators Export Consultation Meeting" held at the Gokseong-gun Leisure Culture Center on the 6th was successfully concluded.

The Gokseong-gun Overseas Permanent Store Operators Export Consultation Meeting was organized to provide various export opportunities to local companies struggling to develop overseas sales channels.

At the export consultation meeting, 18 local production, processing, and export companies participated. Overseas permanent store operators from Jeonnam's online and offline platforms shared professional consultations on procedures for entering overseas permanent stores, directions for product improvement, and logistics, hygiene, and quality standards for each distributor.

The main export consultation items consisted of about 30 different processed foods using agricultural specialties representing Gokseong-gun, such as Gokseong Melon, Baeksemi rice, and Heukchal Corn. Product exhibitions and promotional events were also held, attracting the attention of export buyers.

The county plans to support local companies to enter overseas permanent stores through this export consultation meeting.

Additionally, it plans to expand overseas market channels for local agricultural products by utilizing local distribution networks and enhance the external competitiveness of companies.

Following the export consultation meeting, the county will promote a collaborative online sales promotion event between the province and city-county on online platforms (Namdo Market, 11st, etc.) in December.

It is expected that consumer awareness of excellent Gokseong agricultural specialties will be further increased as local companies participate.

A Gokseong-gun official said, "We will do our best to secure sales channels so that local agricultural product companies can establish a solid income base from online and offline to overseas."
