Entrance Fee $25, All-Day 18-Hole Access Service
[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] 'Golf Emperor' Tiger Woods (USA) is opening his fifth putting course.
On the 7th (local time), Woods announced through social media (SNS) that he has created PopStroke, a complex golf leisure facility in Houston, Texas, USA, featuring two 18-hole putting courses. It will open on the 16th. For an admission fee of $25 (33,000 KRW), visitors can use the 18-hole putting courses all day long. With additional facilities such as a restaurant, bar, and ice cream shop, it also serves as a family amusement park.
PopStroke, featuring an 18-hole putting course designed by Woods, was first introduced in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and since then, four locations have opened in Florida including Fort Myers, Sarasota, and Orlando. Next year, four more will be established in Glendale and Scottsdale, Arizona, as well as Tampa and Delray, Florida. Woods said, "Putting is the most primal and fundamental part of golf," adding, "Anyone can enjoy it regardless of age or skill level."
