The city of Ulsan is hosting a fam tour by inviting travel agency representatives from the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions to visit and promote major tourist attractions in Ulsan.
About 20 travel industry representatives from three cities?Gwangju, Naju, and Mokpo?are participating in this event, which was organized to attract tourists from the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas and to develop new products.
The itinerary spans 1 night and 2 days, from the 8th to the 9th, introducing Ulsan’s representative tourist sites, night tourism resources, and unique attractions.
On the first day, the 8th, participants will visit Bangudae Petroglyphs and the Petroglyph Museum, then ascend Taehwalu Pavilion to view the Taehwagang National Garden, stroll through the Ten-ri Bamboo Grove, and experience the highlight: the spectacular winter flock dance of the hooded crows.
That evening, to develop night tourism products, the group will visit the Ulsan Bridge Observatory to view the Ulsan Bridge and the nightscape of the industrial complex.
On the second day, the 9th, the itinerary includes experiencing the walking trail from Daewangam Park Suspension Bridge to the rocky island Seuldo, followed by visits to Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village and the Whale Museum.
The tour concludes with visits to Ganjeolgot, the place where the sun rises first in the country, and the FE01 Junk Art Gallery.
An official from Ulsan City said, “Through this inspection tour, we plan to highlight Ulsan’s charm as a great winter travel destination by emphasizing the Taehwagang hooded crow flock dance and Ganjeolgot, a famous sunrise spot. We will continue to discover diverse differentiated tourism resources and unique experiences that can only be found in Ulsan.”
This preliminary inspection trip was facilitated by the Ulsan Tourism Association, which plays a central role in attracting tourists. The association plans to continue ongoing exchanges to revitalize stay-type tourism in Ulsan and promote mutual tourism development.
