[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Gmarket and Auction announced on the 8th that they will launch the ‘Weekend Market,’ offering discounted sales of products by major categories only on weekends.

For the first event, from the 9th to the 11th, digital and home appliance category products will be sold at special prices. As part of the year-end settlement, popular products that received much love throughout the year will be offered, including ▲video electronics ▲kitchen appliances ▲seasonal appliances ▲living and beauty appliances ▲mobile and tablets ▲cameras ▲audio devices ▲laptops and PCs ▲monitors and printers.

All customers will receive a 10% discount coupon, which can be used once per day for purchases over 80,000 KRW, offering up to 80,000 KRW off, and a 12% discount coupon for purchases over 30,000 KRW, offering up to 15,000 KRW off, also once per day. Depending on the brand, overlapping discount coupons and additional card company discounts can also be applied.

Exclusive special price products include the ‘Galaxy Z Flip4 256GB unlocked phone,’ ‘LG gaming monitor with 3-side slim bezel,’ ‘LG Dios Kimchi Tok Tok kimchi refrigerator,’ ‘Samsung The Freestyle beam projector,’ ‘Galaxy Tab S8 128GB,’ and ‘Samsung black-and-white laser multifunction printer.’

Live broadcasts are also prepared. On the 9th, Gmarket will sell popular PC peripheral products such as Logitech gaming headsets at prices discounted up to 45%. A prize giveaway event will also be held for customers who purchase during the live broadcast.
