Vice President Kang Byung-il Appointed President and Head of EPC Competitiveness Enhancement Task Force

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] On the 7th, Samsung C&T announced that Jeong Haerin, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Business Support Task Force (TF), has been promoted and appointed as President and CEO of Samsung C&T Resort Division and CEO of Samsung Welstory.
Kang Byungil, Vice President and Head of Management Support Office of Samsung C&T Construction Division, was promoted to President and appointed as Head of the Task Force for Strengthening EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Competitiveness.
President Jeong is a management expert who has worked in Samsung Electronics headquarters support team, audit team, wireless business division, and Europe general management. Based on his extensive business experience, he is expected to lead the growth of Samsung C&T Resort Division.
President Kang has worked at Samsung Engineering Technology Research Institute, Environmental Business Support Team, Management Support Team, and Samsung C&T Management Planning Office.
Samsung C&T stated, "Based on President Kang’s experience accumulated in various organizations, we expect him to create synergy with EPC companies."
Samsung C&T will also conduct regular executive personnel appointments below the vice president level soon.
