2023 Regular President Appointment
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] Samsung Engineering announced on the 7th that Namgung Hong (57), Vice President and Head of the Plant Business Division, has been promoted to President and CEO in the 2023 regular executive personnel reshuffle.
President Namgung joined Samsung Engineering in 1994 and is an expert in chemical plant business with experience in key positions across various fields such as business management, sales, and planning. He has served as Head of Marketing Planning Team, Head of SEUAE Corporation, and Head of the Plant Business Division at Samsung Engineering.
Samsung Engineering is also expected to announce the regular executive personnel appointments below the Vice President level soon.
