[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The DIT WARM Simulation Center at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a 'Nursing Simulation Practice Education Workshop' on the 2nd.
This workshop was organized as part of the 'Nursing College Practice Education Support Project' led by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, targeting professors participating in simulation practice education and graduate students preparing to become educators.
The workshop began with a welcome speech by Center Director Seo Young-seung, followed by sessions on ▲Operation of simulation practice education using standardized patients (SP) ▲Cases of simulation practice education using elderly simulators ▲Cases of simulation practice education using elderly standardized patients ▲and a tour of the simulation center.
Center Director Seo Young-seung said, "This workshop, prepared in response to the social phenomenon of an increasing elderly population, is expected to provide practical and high-quality simulation practice education so that students can effectively acquire the qualities and competencies required for fieldwork."
Established in 2013, the DIT WARM Simulation Center has created practice environments similar to real settings such as emergency rooms, intensive care units, delivery rooms, neonatal rooms, elderly rehabilitation rooms, community home nursing, and mental counseling rooms, supporting field-centered practice education.
