[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] The Busan Creative Convergence Education Institute will sign a business agreement with Pusan National University and Silla University on the 7th at the Creative Convergence Education Institute conference room to promote the development of the Busan Mathematics Culture Center.

Both universities have colleges of education in Busan, and under this agreement, they will mutually cooperate in ▲ educational activities for elementary, middle, and high school students at the Busan Mathematics Culture Center ▲ guiding explanation and experiential activities for visitors to the Busan Mathematics Culture Center ▲ supporting volunteer activities to enhance the educational capabilities of prospective teachers.

Kwon Hyukje, director of the Creative Convergence Education Institute, said, “This agreement with the two universities will greatly contribute to popularizing mathematics culture in Busan.”

The Busan Mathematics Culture Center is an experiential center located within Busan Global Village, with a site area of 3,636㎡, a total floor area of 9,884㎡, and a scale of two basement floors and five above-ground floors. After a pilot operation, it is scheduled to officially open in March next year.

The experiential center is designed with distinctive features on each floor with various contents so that students, teachers, parents, and citizens can all enjoy it, and it will provide mathematics culture experiences that can stimulate curiosity about mathematics.
