In the final held on the 3rd at the Gunwi Comprehensive Stadium in Gyeongbuk, Dong-Eui University ended the game with a final score of 10-24 after a close match against Sungkyunkwan University.

Dong-Eui University showed a tight game with a 10-10 tie until the 3rd quarter, aiming to reclaim the throne after four years, but due to physical limitations caused by a thin roster in the 4th quarter, they had to concede the championship.

Coach Kim Yong-hee said, "Despite many underclassmen playing due to the thin roster, I am proud of the players who competed on equal terms," and added, "We will strengthen the concentration that was lacking at crucial moments and definitely win the championship next year."

Captain Kim Dong-gyu said, "It is very regrettable not to win the championship in my last game before graduation," and expressed hope that "next year, the juniors will surely achieve the championship that the seniors could not."
