Samsung SDS Promotes 4 Vice Presidents and 9 Directors... "Focusing on Cloud and IT Technology Talent"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Samsung SDS announced executive promotions on the 6th, promoting 4 vice presidents and 9 managing directors.

In this personnel move, Kang Seongsu, Head of DS AM Team in charge of Internal AM at the Strategic Marketing Office; Kim Eunyoung, Head of Technology Innovation Team at the Cloud Service Business Division; Kim Janghyun, Head of Management Innovation Team at the Management Support Office; and Lim Jaehwan, Head of IW Business Team at the Solution Business Division, were promoted to vice presidents.

Samsung SDS explained that this personnel decision broadly appointed talents who possess IT technical expertise to develop into a top-level cloud company and expand the digital logistics business, as well as those who have achieved outstanding business results in various industrial fields.

Notably, one female vice president was included in this promotion. The company plans to further strengthen IT technology leadership and business competitiveness by appointing talents who led the planning and development of its future growth engine, the proprietary cloud platform SCP.
