[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The SME Love Sharing Foundation's SME Union Volunteer Group announced on the 6th that from the 5th until the end of the year, they will carry out volunteer activities by visiting seven child care facilities in the metropolitan area and about 13 welfare facilities nationwide to support marginalized groups and promote social contribution by small and medium-sized enterprises.

The SME Union Volunteer Group will visit seven orphanages in the metropolitan area to directly set up Christmas trees and deliver items such as school supplies and toys, preparing Christmas gifts so that the children can have a warm year-end.

Additionally, in 13 regions including Busan, Gyeongnam, and Gwangju, they will visit nearby welfare facilities to support marginalized groups by delivering lunch boxes, making cold-weather kits, and volunteering at senior citizen meal services.

Son In-guk, Chairman of the SME Love Sharing Foundation, said, "I hope the year-end for our marginalized neighbors will not be a lonely time," and added, "In 2023, we will establish ourselves as a foundation representing love sharing in the SME sector through various sharing activities for marginalized groups."
