[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] D'Live announced on the 5th that it will unveil the AI announcer 'LoA' to viewers, starting with the D'Live weekend regional news on the 3rd.

The AI announcer 'LoA' is an abbreviation of Local Announcer. For the development of the AI announcer, D'Live participated in all processes from planning to production. By deploying D'Live TV's professional personnel and production infrastructure and combining the technological expertise of AI Park, a specialized AI deep learning company, 'LoA' was created.

The AI announcer 'LoA' synthesizes a virtual character based on actual announcers' video and audio data. It continuously learns through deep learning technology. When news articles are input as text, 'LoA' delivers the news with pronunciation, intonation, and gestures similar to those of a real announcer.

Additionally, D'Live has established an operating system applying cloud technology that provides an environment where various programs utilizing the AI announcer can be produced anytime and anywhere. D'Live plans to expand the application to various programs in the future by leveraging the advantage that the AI announcer can be deployed on-site immediately after a certain period of learning.

Furthermore, D'Live is preparing a new program tentatively titled 'AI YouTube Reporting,' aiming for an on-air launch in 2023. This AI virtual reality program linked with YouTube content will be produced with the concept of providing viewers with local culture and tourism information such as popular restaurants and leisure facilities.

Meanwhile, D'Live is considering expanding AI human services beyond AI announcers into various fields. The plan includes developing additional AI human services such as advertising models and call center agents, as well as researching ways to integrate with disaster broadcasting production.

D'Live stated, "Through the development of the AI announcer, we aim to implement hyper-localism that systematically and efficiently produces diverse local content to get closer to viewers," and added, "We will do our best to provide differentiated services to local residents by utilizing AI announcers in various fields."
