[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] LG Electronics will launch a new concept table-type air purifier, 'LG PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture,' on the 14th.
According to LG Electronics on the 5th, the new product is a converged air purifier designed for customers who consider both interior design and convenience, following the trend of using air purifiers in every room. With a design that can be used as a table, it can be conveniently used in various spaces such as bedrooms and studies according to customers' lifestyles.
This product features the cylindrical design of the 'PuriCare 360˚ Air Purifier,' which intakes air 360 degrees from the bottom, and customers can choose between two types of tables on top: circular or track-shaped. Customers can select their own customized design that matches their home interior by combining the Objet Collection's three colors?Calming Cream White, Calming Cream Yellow, and Calming Cream Rose?in the same color for top and bottom or different colors when purchasing the product. In particular, by combining separately sold accessories such as tables and filter covers, the number of selectable models exceeds 18.
The bottom of the table includes mood lighting that can change the atmosphere of the space, and the top allows wireless charging for smartphones or wireless earphones. Even after purchase, new functions can be added through upgrades via the LG ThinQ app's 'UP Appliance Center.'
The LG PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture is equipped with the UVnano function, which sterilizes the fan that blows air with UV LED to remove 99.99% of harmful bacteria, and an air purification filter that removes five major harmful gases including ammonia, formaldehyde, toluene, acetic acid, and acetaldehyde, as well as providing antiviral and antibacterial effects and filtering ultrafine dust. The purification area is 19.8㎡ (approximately 6 pyeong). LG Electronics made the exterior material of the Aero Furniture from recycled plastic extracted from discarded electronic devices.
LG Electronics will sell the new product along with two limited edition models designed by famous artist Kim Sunwoo for the top table through its online brand shop and lifestyle platform 'Ohouse' starting from the 14th of this month. The price of the new product is 549,000 KRW for the standard model and 599,000 KRW for the limited edition model.
Until the end of this month, LG Electronics will provide all customers who purchase the new product with discount coupons for Aero Furniture accessories and offer a 'goods package gift' to customers who purchase the limited edition model designed by Kim Sunwoo, among various other events. To allow more customers to experience Aero Furniture, a pop-up store will be operated at 'The Hyundai Seoul' department store in Yeouido, Seoul, from December 14th to January 4th.
