[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Jeong Jin-seok, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, claimed regarding the Cargo Solidarity strike, "The illegal strike currently being carried out by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions is an unfair strike that the MZ generation cannot sympathize with."

On the 4th, Chairman Jeong stated on Facebook, "MZ generation union members ended the political strike of the Seoul subway. I believe this trend is a new wave that will replace the 1987 system."

He said, "The Cargo Solidarity only claims solidarity in name; it is difficult to find any concern for the common people shivering in the severe cold or for the national economy in crisis," adding, "The MZ generation is opposing that dogmatism."

He continued, "The MZ generation has begun to critically view the ideology of the 'left-wing vested interest cartel.' Their standard is 'fairness and justice,'" and said, "The MZ generation has been enraged by the endless 'unfairness' of the Moon Jae-in administration, such as the Cho Kuk incident, the In-guk-gong incident, and the LH incident."

He stated, "The 586 political forces filling the Democratic Party and politicians from Jeondaehyeop (National Council of Student Representatives) are the vanguard defending the left-wing vested interest cartel," and said, "They are blocking the progress of the Republic of Korea."

He added, "Unless the vested interests of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions are broken, we cannot improve the dual structure of the labor market," and criticized, "The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions has degenerated into a huge reactionary force blocking reform."

Chairman Jeong said, "President Yoon Seok-yeol is doing his best to prepare alternatives to prevent the economic crisis that the Cargo Solidarity strike may cause," and added, "The ruling party will also lend its strength to minimize the damage to the people."
