"Thank You for Your Service" ... Changwon Special City Holds Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association Unity Pledge Event

Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, held the 2022 Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association One Mind Resolution Rally.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the 2nd, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the 2022 Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association One-Heart Resolution Meeting at the Masan Olympic Memorial Hall performance hall, attended by about 300 members of the Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association.

The city awarded plaques and certificates to 38 outstanding volunteers for their contributions to the activation of volunteer work. Despite the difficult situation caused by COVID-19, the attendees pledged that all members would continue to participate in volunteer activities with a renewed mindset for neighbors in need.

The Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association is a volunteer organization composed of about 630 members from 27 eup, myeon, and dong in Masanhappo-gu and Masanhwoeon-gu, steadily practicing support for side dishes for low-income neighbors in the area, meal service volunteering, environmental cleanup activities, and helping neighbors.

First Deputy Mayor Ahn Kyung-won said, “I would like to thank the approximately 630 members of the Masan Welfare Family Volunteer Association who have practiced sharing with neighbors throughout the year,” and added, “I hope you will continue to take the lead in creating a happy Changwon Special City with volunteer work through more interest and consideration for neighbors in need around you.”
