[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Kim Ji-su and Kim Ri-an, students majoring in Metal Materials Engineering at Dong-Eui University, each received the Excellent Paper Award in the poster presentation category at the "2022 Fall Academic Conference and Symposium of the Korean Society for Corrosion Engineering."
The event was held on the 24th and 25th at The K Hotel in Gyeongju.
Student Kim Ji-su presented "Study on Surface Treatment Conditions for Uniform Aluminum Anodic Oxide Film (AAO) Formation" and was selected for the Excellent Paper Award in the poster presentation category.
This paper involved first author Kim Ji-su and Park Young-joo, a researcher at Dong-Eui University Industrial Technology Development Institute, under the supervision of Professor Jung Chan-young.
Third-year student Kim Ri-an participated as the first author and presented the paper "Study on Changes in Nanostructures and Hydrophilic Properties According to Electrolyte Types," supervised by Professor Jung Chan-young, receiving the Excellent Paper Award in the poster presentation category.
The Korean Society for Corrosion Engineering (CSSK) is a society that researches corrosion issues and solution methods across various industries.
It publishes two types of journals bimonthly, holds academic conferences and research forums, and contributes to the development of related industries by transferring technology to the industrial sector through the operation of technical committees.
