[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] A man in his 40s who expressed dissatisfaction with civil complaint handling, sprayed a fire extinguisher at the district office, and threatened to jump while hanging on the railing was arrested by the police.

On the 2nd, Busanjin Police Station announced that they had arrested and investigated Mr. A for obstructing official duties after causing a disturbance at the district office.

According to the police, at around 7:50 PM on the 1st, Mr. A caused a disturbance at the Busanjin District Office building by shouting loudly, spraying a fire extinguisher from the third-floor railing toward the first floor, and threatening to jump.

Police who responded to the district office report installed an air mattress and took safety measures, then deployed a crisis negotiation officer to persuade Mr. A. About two hours after the incident, at around 9:45 PM, Mr. A voluntarily came down.

It is known that Mr. A, dissatisfied with the results of a civil complaint regarding road surface marking application, visited the district office in a drunken state and caused the disturbance.

A police official said, “We plan to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating Mr. A,” and added, “We cannot disclose further details.”
