University Job Center Successfully Concludes 'Mock Interview Resource Competition'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) has rolled up its sleeves to strengthen the employment competitiveness of its enrolled students.
The Gwangju University University Job Center announced on the 2nd that it conducted a "Mock Job Application Competition" from October for two months, providing experience in the hiring process through preparation of application documents and interviews, as well as guidance on employment directions based on the latest hiring trends.
This competition was held by receiving resumes and self-introduction letters, and for participants who passed the document screening, it proceeded with mock interview training and other activities.
The training included content such as image making for successful interviews and special lectures.
The subsequent competition ended with feedback on strengths and weaknesses through a practical mock interview in teams of four, and awards were given to 10 people who passed the document screening and 10 outstanding interviewees.
No Seonsik, head of the University Job Center, said, "We will actively operate and support programs to strengthen students' employment competitiveness through preparation of application documents and interviews, and to nurture prepared talents by enhancing the competencies necessary for employment."
