Gidae-seo Buk-gu Council Member Receives Plaque of Appreciation from Im-dong Residents

Expressing Gratitude for Dedicated Contributions to Regional Development through Active Engagement

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Gidae Seo, a member of the Gwangju Buk-gu Council, announced on the 1st that he received a plaque of appreciation from the residents of Imdong at the 2022 Imdong Residents' General Assembly held on the 30th of last month.

This plaque of appreciation was prepared by the Imdong Residents' Autonomous Association to express the gratitude of the residents for his significant contributions to revitalizing the local economy through active legislative activities, always providing generous support and dedicated efforts for the development of the Imdong area and the improvement of residents' convenience.

Councilor Gidae Seo said, “I have always tried to improve even the smallest inconveniences for the residents,” and added, “I believe this plaque of appreciation was given to encourage more active legislative activities, and I will continue to do my best for the residents.”

Meanwhile, following the amendment of the Road Traffic Act that enforces a complete ban on parking and stopping in school zones, Councilor Seo has been steadily working to resolve local issues by holding meetings to gather opinions from related organizations and residents and seek coexistence measures, amid threats to the livelihood of local residents around elementary schools in the Jungheung-dong and Imdong areas.
