[Activity] Kim Hyun-ki, Chairperson of Seoul Metropolitan Council, Attends Love Temperature Tower Unveiling Ceremony

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 1st, Kim Hyun-ki, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, attended the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign Love Thermometer Unveiling Ceremony' held at Gwanghwamun Square.

The Love Thermometer Unveiling Ceremony was organized by the Community Chest of Korea, also known as Sarangui Yeolmae, to inform the progress of the year-end and New Year sharing campaign and encourage participation in sharing.

In an interview conducted after the lighting of the thermometer, Chairperson Kim said, "Reaching 100 degrees on the Love Thermometer is like a miracle happening," adding, "I am confident that there will be no one cold, hungry, or naked, only a country full of warm affection, and a world overflowing with peace and love like a river."

Attendees at this unveiling ceremony included Cho Kyu-hong, Minister of Health and Welfare; Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul; Cho Heung-sik, Chairman of the Community Chest of Korea; Hwang In-sik, Secretary General of the Community Chest of Korea; Yoon Young-seok, Chairman of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea; Kim Na-woon, Public Relations Ambassador; and Lim Hyung-joo, Public Relations Ambassador.
