Review of the 2022 Supplementary Budget Proposal and Others from the 1st to the 16th

Sancheong County Council is holding the 287th 2nd regular meeting.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong County Council in Gyeongnam opened the 287th 2nd regular session, which will be held for 16 days from December 1 to December 16.

During this session, they plan to review the ‘Ordinance on Promoting Food Donations in Sancheong County’ proposed by Councilor Kim Nam-soon, the 3rd supplementary budget for 2022, and the main budget for 2023.

In particular, the county council emphasized that this session is the most important one to both wrap up the year and prepare for the new year. They will thoroughly and strictly examine whether any unnecessary budgets have been included in the 2023 main budget and whether the budgets for balanced regional development and residents’ welfare have been reasonably allocated.

Chairperson Jeong Myeong-sun stated, “We have entered full-scale preparations for the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine and Anti-Aging Expo to be held next year. The council promises cooperation and support for the successful hosting, and we ask the expo officials to devote their full efforts to the event preparations.” She added, “As we close the year in December, I hope everyone has a joyful and happy year-end.”
