"Thank You for Your Love of Blood Donation" ... Changwon Facilities Corporation Receives Award from Korean Red Cross

Gyeongnam Changwon Facilities Corporation received an institutional commendation from the Korean Red Cross.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam received an institutional commendation from the Korean Red Cross on the 1st for its contribution to overcoming the blood supply crisis through continuous blood donations.

The corporation has contributed to the development of blood services by practicing life-sharing, conducting group blood donations four times a year to stabilize the blood supply amid COVID-19.

On the day of the commendation, about 50 employees participated in blood donations at the corporation's headquarters and Masan Baseball Center.

In particular, the corporation signed a blood donation cooperation agreement with the Korean Red Cross Gyeongnam Blood Center in February and is promoting various social contribution activities including group blood donations.

Acting Chairman Jeong Cheol-young said, “As this is a difficult time with decreasing blood donors, we will continue to participate in blood donations that save precious lives.”
