[Photo] Choi Ho-gwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Attends Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Singil Station

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Choi Hogwon, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the Christmas tree lighting ceremony held on the evening of the 30th at Singil Station Plaza.

The event, hosted by Singil Church, proceeded in the order of a pre-ceremony worship service, introduction of guests, Christmas tree lighting, and commemorative photo session.

Mayor Choi said, "I hope the bright lights of the Christmas tree bring comfort and joy to the hearts of the residents, and that the light of warmth shines even in dark and neglected places so that all residents can have a warm year-end and New Year."

The Christmas tree lights will remain on until January 20th of next year.
