[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daegu Catholic University held the 2022 Academic Year ‘House of Support Dream (cum) Scholarship’ award ceremony at the main building on the 30th of last month.

At the event, representatives of the House of Support companies and Acting President Seong Han-gi presented scholarship certificates and scholarships of 1 million won per person to 20 students.

Daegu Catholic University has designated companies that regularly donate development funds every month as Houses of Support. The donations were accumulated as the ‘House of Support Dream (cum) Scholarship.’ Cum is Latin for ‘together,’ and this Dream Scholarship is awarded to students every year.

The Daegu Catholic University House of Support consists of restaurants and shops in the Daegu and Gyeongsan areas. Starting from the 2012 academic year, 12 companies currently support it, and so far, scholarships totaling 223 million won have been awarded to 233 students.
