[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Jung Kyung-ho (39) revealed his strong loyalty and affection toward his longtime girlfriend Choi Sooyoung, with whom he has been in a relationship for 10 years.

On the afternoon of the 29th, at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Jung Kyung-ho said, "Choi Sooyoung came to the VIP screening of 'Apgujeong' held the day before," adding, "She watched the movie and told me it was fun." He continued, "Since we both act, we are very considerate of each other. We talk a lot and are the closest in terms of conversation, but we uniquely refrain from discussing acting or projects. We are careful with each other."

Jung Kyung-ho shared his philosophy on human relationships, saying, "When I form a connection with someone, it tends to last a long time." He laughed, "I feel awkward in new places. I only go to one restaurant. I've been working with my manager for 20 years now, and he feels like family." He emphasized, "The people you work with on projects are important. Even if some aspects are lacking, if the person is good, it fills in enough. In the end, what remains are the people." He added, "I've been acting for 20 years, have been in a long-term relationship, have lived independently for a long time, and my dog is 9 years old."

He has been dating his girlfriend Choi Sooyoung for 10 years. When asked about marriage plans, he replied, "We will do it when the time comes." Jung Kyung-ho said, "We haven't had any concrete talks yet, but we won't be overly cautious or conscious of each other."

"We have accumulated many memories over the long time we've been together. We've shared many conversations over 10 years. In a way, she is the only person I have talked to so much. It feels like I only talk with this friend."

Regarding Choi Sooyoung's charm, he said, "She eats a lot." He explained, "I am more of a 'sosikjwa' (someone who eats little), but she is not. When we order food together, my girlfriend tends to eat a lot. I was also attracted to that."

Meanwhile, the movie 'Apgujeong,' starring Jung Kyung-ho and directed by Lim Jin-soon, tells the story of Daeguk (Ma Dong-seok), a native of Apgujeong with endless business ideas and a big mouth, who teams up with Ji-woo (Jung Kyung-ho), a top plastic surgeon, to become the pioneer of K-beauty. In the film, Jung Kyung-ho plays a confident and prickly plastic surgeon who is a key figure in the K-beauty business. The movie is set to be released on the 30th.
