Publication of a Criticism Book Attacking North Korea and Foreign Policy
"The Most Dangerous Government at the Most Dangerous Time"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hee-jun] North Korea has released a 67-page booklet that collectively criticizes the Yoon Suk-yeol administration's policies on North Korea, foreign affairs, and domestic issues.
The foreign propaganda outlet Chosun Today published the booklet titled "Race Toward Destruction," issued by the Pyongyang Publishing House on the 23rd, on its website on the 30th.
In the preface, the booklet defines the Yoon Suk-yeol administration as "the most dangerous government recklessly rushing through the most perilous era," and asserts, "This rush inevitably leads to the ultimate destruction of the Yoon Suk-yeol traitorous faction."
The booklet is structured into three chapters?covering North Korea policy, domestic policy, and foreign policy?each criticizing the Yoon Suk-yeol administration.
In the first chapter on North Korea policy, it claims that "Yoon Suk-yeol's 'North Korea enemy theory' is a self-destructive doctrine that invites a miserable end," and harshly criticizes the administration's core goal of denuclearizing North Korea by saying, "They keep spouting foolish nonsense and acting stupidly."
Regarding the 'Bold Initiative,' it disparages it as merely a rebranding of the Lee Myung-bak administration's 'Denuclearization and Openness 3000' policy, stating, "We cannot help but be appalled by the disgraceful antics of the Yoon Suk-yeol traitorous faction dreaming foolishly of exchanging nuclear weapons for economic cooperation." It also reacts strongly against raising human rights issues, calling it a "political provocation that drives inter-Korean relations to their worst phase."
In the second chapter on domestic policy, it argues that the Yoon Suk-yeol administration is "turning power institutions such as the prosecution, National Intelligence Service, and police into political servants to strengthen an anti-people governance system, attempting to fully revive the dictatorship era of the past," and also claims that "(President Yoon) is being manipulated by Kim Kun-hee's influence."
In the third chapter, it mocks President Yoon with phrases such as "a pro-American traitor physiologically conditioned to blindly worship and follow the United States," and "kowtowing to Japan, selling out the nation's dignity and interests, and opening the door to re-invasion," indiscriminately criticizing foreign policy.
The booklet asserts, "Our Republic is a world-class military power and a nuclear-armed state," and justifies nuclear possession by stating, "As long as anti-Republic provocations do not end, the path of strengthening nuclear forces will not cease."
It is considered unusual that North Korea, which has mainly criticized South Korea through propaganda media, has published a separate booklet to denounce the South. Previously, this publishing house also released a booklet titled "Source of Trouble" last month, claiming that the COVID-19 virus was spread by South Korean leaflets sent to North Korea.
