[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 29th that it operated the '2022 Second Half Kindergarten and Elementary School Lead Teacher Capacity Building Training' at the Hidden Bay Hotel in Yeosu.
This training was held from the 28th to the 29th, with 30 lead teachers from kindergarten and elementary schools participating. The program covered topics such as future education and the role of lead teachers, sharing cases of lead teachers from other cities and provinces, and exploring AI and SW teaching methods.
In particular, the presentation on 'Project-Based Learning Operation Cases' by Choi Mu-yeon, lead teacher at Todang Elementary School under the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, received great responses from the attendees.
A lead teacher who participated in the event said, "As a lead teacher supporting the field, it was helpful to contemplate the direction of future education and share teaching cases of lead teachers from other cities and provinces."
No Myung-sook, Director of Kindergarten and Elementary Education, said, "Lead teachers are experts supporting school classes. The capacity of lead teachers can play a significant role in enhancing school educational capabilities," adding, "We will prepare opportunities to further develop the capacities of lead teachers next year as well."
