Masan Fire Station and Masan University Korean 119 Youth Group 'Fire Prevention Campaign Conducted'

The Masan Fire Station in Changwon, Gyeongnam, conducted a fire prevention campaign and fire safety education together with the Masan University Korea 119 Youth Corps.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the 29th, Masan Fire Station in Changwon, Gyeongnam, conducted a fire prevention campaign and fire safety education together with the Masan University Korea 119 Youth Corps as part of the 'November Fire Prevention Emphasis Month.'

The campaign took place at Masan University’s ▲Main Gate ▲Cheongwoo Statue ▲Cheonggang Memorial Hall ▲Back Gate to promote a citizen-participatory safety culture ahead of the winter season when fire risks increase.

On this day, focusing on spreading a fire safety culture that citizens can relate to, activities included ▲promotion using signs for residential fire safety equipment and 119 multimedia reporting ▲education on how to use fire extinguishers and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Lee Seon-jang, head of Masan Fire Station, said, “I hope this campaign serves as an opportunity for many citizens to take an interest in fire prevention.”
