NongHyup Changnyeong County Branch Holds Joint Environmental Cleanup with Agricultural and Livestock Cooperatives and Hometown Housewives Association The Nonghyup Changnyeong County Branch in Gyeongnam carried out agricultural waste collection and village environmental cleanup activities in Hwangok Village, Changnyeong-eup.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The Nonghyup Changnyeong County Branch in Gyeongnam conducted a collection of agricultural waste and village environmental cleanup activities at Hwangok Village in Changnyeong-eup on the 28th.


Twenty participants, including Changnyeong Nonghyup, the Changnyeong County Federation of Hometown Housewives Association, local agricultural and livestock cooperative employees, and village chiefs, collected waste vinyl and discarded farming materials, and carried out environmental cleanup activities around farm roads and the village to contribute to a clean rural environment.


The amount of waste vinyl and trash they collected was equivalent to one 1-ton truckload.


Branch Manager Choi Jeong-gwon said, “I would like to thank the members of the local agricultural and livestock cooperatives and the Hometown Housewives Association who participated in the second half of the year following the first half. We will strive to maintain a clean and pleasant rural village in Changnyeong through continuous environmental cleanup activities.”
