GS Construction to Launch 'Gangdong Heritage Xi' for Sale in December

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] GS Construction announced on the 29th that it plans to launch sales of 'Gangdong Heritage Xi' in Gildong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul next month.

This complex is a reconstruction of Sindonga 1st and 2nd Apartments located in the 160 area of Gildong, Gangdong-gu. It consists of 8 buildings, ranging from 2 basement floors to 33 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,299 households. Among them, 219 units with an exclusive area of 59㎡ will be available for general sale.

As it is a reconstruction complex, GS Construction explains that there is abundant infrastructure nearby. Residents can enjoy close proximity to lifestyle infrastructure such as Hyundai Department Store, E-Mart, Gangdong Kyunghee University Hospital, and Homeplus. Surrounding the complex are Gildong Ecological Park, Gildong Park, and Iljasan Urban Nature Park.

To the north of the complex is Shinmyeong Elementary School, and Shinmyeong Middle School is within walking distance. The school district includes the autonomous private schools Baejae High School and Boin High School, as well as the specialized high school Hanyoung Foreign Language High School. The Myeongil-dong academy district is also close to the complex.

It is connected to the metropolitan area via the Seoul Ring Expressway Sangil IC and Olympic-daero. Residents can access downtown areas such as Gangnam via Gildong Station on Subway Line 5 and Gildong Ecological Park Station on Line 9 (scheduled to open in 2028).

The complex features a distinctive exterior design and various landscaping spaces. Community facilities equipped with a cafeteria, fitness club, golf practice range, small library, and reading room will be provided.

A GS Construction sales official said, "Gangdong Heritage Xi is expected to attract much interest from buyers as it not only offers abundant lifestyle infrastructure but also pays attention to a generally open view and comfortable living for residents through building arrangement." He added, "We will do our best to make it a representative apartment complex of the area."

Move-in is scheduled for June 2024.
