SGI Seoul Guarantee - Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, 'Business Agreement to Strengthen Export Competitiveness of Our Companies'

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance announced on the 29th that it signed a "Business Agreement to Strengthen the Global Export Competitiveness of Our Companies" with the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation yesterday.

This agreement was established to support South Korean export companies by providing comprehensive financial services such as guarantees and insurance through SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance and the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, enabling them to actively expand exports and secure global competitiveness in a stable environment.

SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance will jointly develop and support guarantee products for export companies with the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation. Through various domestic and international collaborations, it plans to broadly support not only export companies based in Korea but also those operating overseas.

Yoo Kwang-yeol, CEO of SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance, stated, “This year, when the trade balance turned to a deficit due to external uncertainties and rising international energy prices, we want to bring hope to South Korean export companies together with the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation,” adding, “To strengthen the global competitiveness of domestic companies and our companies operating overseas, SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance will provide more guarantee services when companies face difficulties.”
