[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The South Korean national team lost control of the match to Ghana in the first half after conceding a painful opening goal and an additional goal.
On the 28th (Korean time), the South Korean team ended the first half 0-2 against Ghana in the second match of Group H in the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup group stage, held at Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar.
The early part of the match was dominated by South Korea. Korea increased ball possession and continuously threatened Ghana's goal. However, the lack of finishing prevented shots from materializing into goals.
Failing to capitalize on opportunities, South Korea faced a crisis. Amid a tense battle of nerves, Ghana secured a set piece on the left flank in the 24th minute of the first half. As the cross came in near the touchline, Mohamed Salisu (Southampton) pushed it in directly, scoring a goal.

Ultimately, the South Korean national team ended the first half trailing Ghana 0-2.
