According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on this day, Minister Wang met with Igor Morgulov, the Russian Ambassador to China, who had visited the previous day, and said, "China and Russia promote a multipolar world and do not recognize unipolar hegemony." Minister Wang added, "We uphold the international system centered on the United Nations and the international order based on international law, and do not acknowledge power politics," further stating, "This stance is on the right side of history and aligns with the flow of the times."
He also emphasized, "No matter how the international situation changes, China and Russia, as powerful neighboring countries, will continuously promote strategic mutual trust and practical cooperation, deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries, and jointly safeguard international fairness and justice."
In response, Ambassador Morgulov said, "The Russia-China relationship is solid and unbreakable, and the friendship between the two countries can overcome any challenge." He added, "We hope to deepen all-round cooperation with China and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries to a new level," and stated, "Russia will jointly uphold the international order based on international law and the UN Charter with China, rejecting unipolar hegemony."
