[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] 'Monster defender' Kim Min-jae (Napoli) will start in the match against Ghana.
Kim Min-jae was named in the starting lineup announced about an hour before the second match of Group H in the 2022 Qatar World Cup between Korea and Ghana on the 28th.
Kim Min-jae had suffered a right calf injury during the second half of the first match against Uruguay, making his participation uncertain, but his inclusion in the starting lineup dispelled concerns.
The defensive line, as in the match against Uruguay, will be composed of Kim Jin-su (Jeonbuk) on the left, Kim Min-jae, Kim Young-gwon (Ulsan), and Kim Moon-hwan (Jeonbuk) forming the back four. The goal will be guarded by Kim Seung-gyu (Al Shabab). Up front, Jo Gyu-seong (Jeonbuk), who came on as a substitute in the Uruguay match, will take position.
On the left attack, Son Heung-min (Tottenham), who has recovered from an orbital fracture, will take charge. On the right, Kwon Chang-hoon (Gimcheon Sangmu) has been placed.
In midfield, Jung Woo-young (Freiburg) and Hwang In-beom (Olympiacos) will take more attacking roles, while Jung Woo-young (Al Sadd) is expected to play as a defensive midfielder.
