Wemade Requests "Withdraw WEMIX Delisting"...Files Injunction Against Upbit and Bithumb

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Wemade has filed an injunction with the court, requesting the cancellation of the delisting decision of its cryptocurrency WEMIX.

On the 28th, Wemade announced that it submitted an injunction application to the Seoul Central District Court to suspend the effect of the WEMIX delisting decision against cryptocurrency exchanges Upbit and Bithumb.

On the 24th, the Digital Asset Exchange Joint Council (DAXA), composed of five major domestic cryptocurrency exchanges including Upbit, Bithumb, Korbit, Coinone, and Gopax, decided to delist WEMIX. When it was decided to suspend WEMIX trading from 3 PM on the 8th of next month, Wemade took legal action such as filing an injunction.

Wemade stated, "We are also preparing injunction applications against Coinone and Korbit, which participated in this decision," and added, "We plan to take all possible measures to normalize WEMIX trading."

Furthermore, Wemade intends to file a complaint with the Fair Trade Commission, claiming that DAXA's delisting action of WEMIX constitutes illegal collusion.
