[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] NS Home Shopping announced on the 28th that it attended the '2022 K-Beauty Brand Show' held on the 25th in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul, as a representative of a distribution company.
The '2022 K-Beauty Brand Show,' hosted by the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute and sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, is an event where leading domestic beauty brands driving K-Beauty provide the latest beauty trends and experiences. Products from beauty-related companies such as hair and skin care were introduced, focusing on cosmetic brands located in the 'K-Beauty Experience·Promotion Center' operating in Myeongdong, Seoul. The event featured makeup·styling demonstrations, customized cosmetic experiences, and signing of export business agreements (MOUs) with cosmetic companies.
NS Home Shopping stated that it attended the K-Beauty Brand Show as a representative of distribution companies. They introduced home shopping beauty products such as the brand 'Dashing Diva,' a key partner in beauty products, at the K-Beauty Brand Show, and explained that they were invited in recognition of their win-win cooperation cases between distribution sales channels and small and medium-sized enterprises. Approximately 230 people attended the event, including related companies, domestic and international influencers, and government and affiliated organization officials from countries such as Brazil, Poland, and China. NS Home Shopping sells beauty products through its channels including TV home shopping, online malls, shopping books, live commerce, and T-commerce, and operates an NS Home Shopping pavilion at Beauty Play to promote win-win cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprise partners.
Park Min-su, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, said in his congratulatory speech, "Our cosmetics industry has grown, achieving the world's third-largest export volume in 2021. It is the main contributor to making our country a soft power powerhouse." He added, "The Ministry of Health and Welfare will continue to support K-Beauty to leap to the world's number one. We hope the industry will also work together by expanding investments."
