[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] AI startup Ryuten Technologies announced on the 28th that it won the grand prize at the 'K-Global Startup Competition' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.
The K-Global Startup Competition is a project aimed at discovering startups with creative and innovative ideas and technologies in the ICT field and promoting the growth of technology-based startups through commercialization support.
Founded in April last year, Ryuten Technologies is a startup composed of writing education experts and AI engineers. It provides services based on 'super-large AI' technology that thinks like the human brain.
Last month, the company launched the open beta version of its AI content platform 'Ryuten,' a service that drafts various texts including advertising copy. Within about three weeks after its launch, the number of users approached 20,000. It features over 50 AI tools that can generate high-quality drafts simply by entering keywords, applicable to various work situations. It is expected to enhance convenience by utilizing AI's language capabilities, helping to increase sales for small and medium-sized businesses.
Ryuten Technologies recently succeeded in raising 3.8 billion KRW in pre-Series A funding and won the Innovation Award in the Software & Mobile Apps category at CES 2023.
Lee Se-young, CEO of Ryuten Technologies, said, "We are pleased that our company's technology and business potential, expanding into various domestic and international fields, have been recognized," adding, "Through continuous research and development, we will achieve a super-gap and lead the global super-large generative AI service market."
