[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 28th that it will release the movies 'Hansan Redux' and 'Hunt' on the 2nd and 7th of next month, respectively.
'Hansan Redux' (director Kim Han-min), the complete version of 'Hansan: Rising Dragon,' which was released on July 27 and attracted 7.26 million viewers with an additional runtime of 21 minutes and 15 seconds, depicts the untold stories of Admiral Yi Sun-sin's anguish and those who fought in the naval battle that decided Joseon's fate during the early Imjin War in 1592. It portrays the intense struggle and tension between Yi Sun-sin (Park Hae-il) and Wakizaka (Byun Yo-han), two commanders facing a decisive battle that determines the fate of the nation.
'Hunt,' actor Lee Jung-jae's directorial debut and a film featuring Jung Woo-sung alongside him for the first time in 23 years, is a spy action drama in which National Intelligence Service agents Park Pyung-ho and Kim Jung-do, suspicious of each other while trying to root out a spy within the organization, confront a massive incident called the 'South Korea's First Assassination Operation.' The movie was released on August 10 and has been seen by 4.35 million viewers.
