Sancheong Cultural Center, Regular Presentation of Culture School ... Exhibitions and Performances Showcased Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam held a regular presentation of the Culture School.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong Cultural Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 27th that it held the '2022 Cultural School Regular Presentation' at the Sancheong Cultural Center auditorium on the 25th.


Held for the first time in three years due to the impact of COVID-19, the presentation featured exhibitions and performances by members of the Sancheong Cultural Center divisions, drawing a large audience.


The presentation was attended by County Governor Lee Seung-hwa, Sancheong County Council Chairperson Jeong Myeong-sun, county council members, heads of institutions, and members of the Sancheong Cultural Center, who celebrated and encouraged the event.


The event was divided into exhibitions and performances, including photography, wood carving, poetry and painting, wood burning, and macrame works.


In particular, various daily items produced through the Cultural Heritage Administration's public project 'Meeting Sancheong's Ceramics and Minhwa (Korean folk painting)' were exhibited, attracting attention.


The performances included classical guitar and accordion, gayageum playing, and sijo singing by the Cheongsan Siwoohoe and Sancheong Siwoohoe groups.


Additionally, performances continued with songs from the popular song class, traditional dance, acoustic guitar playing, a madanggeuk (traditional Korean outdoor play) themed on Samudang Moon Ik-jeom, musical nanta, and gogo trot janggu drumming.


A representative of the Sancheong Cultural Center said, "All projects and program operations of the Sancheong Cultural Center are aligned with the development of Sancheong County and the harmony of its residents," adding, "We are making every effort in the establishment and operation of divisions. We ask for your interest and encouragement."


The Sancheong Cultural Center operates about 40 divisions and is striving to contribute not only to local festival stages but also to the Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo to be held next year.
