[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Office of External Cooperation at Gyeongsang National University held the "2022 International Students' Day Harmony Festival" on the 25th at 2 p.m. in the Pioneer Auditorium of the International Language Institute at the Gajwa Campus.

This event was organized to encourage the study abroad life by enhancing the mutual communication skills and affinity of international students and to boost pride in Gyeongsang National University. Gyeongsang National University holds the International Students' Day event annually.

This event was especially meaningful as it was the first event since the International Students Association (ISA), which had been disrupted by COVID-19, was relaunched this year. The International Students Association was relaunched in the second semester of this year, with student Seo Chim (China, PhD program in English Language and Literature, College of Humanities) serving as president.

About 180 people attended the event, including international students, student helpers (GNU Buddy), and faculty and staff interested in foreign cultures.

A representative from the Office of External Cooperation at Gyeongsang National University said, "Through this event, we hope that international students will increase their pride in Gyeongsang National University and that understanding and bonds between international and Korean students will be strengthened."
