[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Honam University Career Plus Center announced on the 27th that it operated a female college student employment camp called ‘Employment Queen’ for two days from the 24th to the 25th.
This female college student employment camp was conducted in the form of a mock job application, where participants explored companies they wished to join and virtually applied according to the hiring process, going beyond the format of traditional employment camps.
On the first day, participants analyzed hiring trends matching their desired job roles and completed resumes and self-introduction letters by preparing successful application documents that highlight female students’ strengths.
On the second day, participants virtually applied to companies matching their desired job roles with the application documents they had written. To prepare for interviews after passing the written test, sessions on image making, personal color, and special employment interview lectures were conducted.
Kim Eunah, head of the University Career Plus Center, said, “Female students were able to directly and indirectly experience the hiring procedures of their desired companies, which greatly helped strengthen their employment capabilities through mock job-seeking activities. We will also strive to continuously connect all participants to employment through follow-up counseling.”
