'Reading History Through Film' ... Ulsan Museum's November Culture Day, Screening of Documentary Film 'Jikji Code'

'Reading History Through Film' ... Ulsan Museum's November Culture Day, Screening of Documentary Film 'Jikji Code' On November 30th at 2 PM, the documentary film "Jikji Code" will be screened in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of Ulsan Museum to celebrate the "Culture Day".

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan Museum will screen the documentary film "Jikji Code" at 2 PM on the 30th in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the museum to celebrate the November "Culture Day."

The selected film "Jikji Code" is based on the hypothesis that Gutenberg's invention of the first Western metal movable type was influenced by Goryeo.

It captures the process of investigating the truth that Jikji, printed at Heungdeoksa Temple in Goryeo in 1377, was produced about 70 years earlier than Gutenberg's first Western metal movable type printing, and uncovering historical facts through video.

In this process, it is an intriguing film that seeks evidence to prove the circumstances suggesting exchanges between Goryeo and Europe and the assumption that Gutenberg was influenced by Jikji.

Admission to the film screening is free for the first 200 people on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.
