[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] On the 23rd, Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, held a tasting event for the works selected in the new beverage and dessert menu contest using agricultural specialties at Cheonggye Square in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
According to the county on the 25th, this campaign was the first opportunity for the general public to test six beverage and dessert products, including Bokbunja Pangade, Melon Green Iced Tea, selected through preliminary and final rounds from 54 applications.
The new beverage and dessert menus developed using Gochang's agricultural specialties as the main ingredients received enthusiastic responses from customers in the metropolitan area as well.
A tourist met at this tasting campaign said, "I can't believe I can taste such innovative and creative beverages and desserts in Gochang. I will visit Gochang again as a travel destination next year."
Participants in the tasting event cheered for the panna cotta that perfectly captured the Gochang Ungok Ramsar Wetland.
They also expressed admiration for the refreshing taste of Bokbunja Pangade and Melon Green Iced Tea.
The six works will undergo a second improvement process after receiving satisfaction surveys from the general public through this on-site tasting event, and efforts will be made to popularize them so that they can be widely distributed to cafes and bakeries in Gochang.
