[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] T'way Air announced on the 25th that it will hold a special discount event for 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) examinees to encourage and support the hardworking students. The purpose is to assist students in traveling for university entrance exams and to provide convenience for their long-awaited trips.
The special discount for examinees, available until January 31 next year, offers a 25% discount on domestic regular fares and a 7% discount on international regular and smart fares for 2023 CSAT examinees themselves.
Based on the boarding date, discounted fares can be booked for all domestic and international routes until February 18 next year. However, the year-end and Lunar New Year holiday periods are excluded. The discount applies only when booking round-trip tickets.
To receive the discount, select the regular fare for domestic flights and smart or regular fares for international flights, then choose ‘2023 CSAT Discount’ under personal identification discount during the passenger information input process.
After booking, present one of the original documents?2023 CSAT admission ticket, university application receipt, or university application form?at the airport counter on the day of travel to receive the boarding pass. Foreigners and applicants to overseas universities are not eligible for the discount. Detailed usage instructions can be found on the event page of T'way Air’s official website.
Additionally, new members who sign up on the T'way Air website will receive discount coupons worth a total of 20,000 KRW. Additional discounts are available when using certain affiliated cards and simple payment methods. The website also offers various partnership benefits from different companies to help prepare for economical travel.
A T'way Air official stated, “We decided to provide extensive fare discounts on domestic and international flights to encourage the hardworking examinees and support their new beginnings,” adding, “Please make sure to check the required proof documents in advance and bring the originals to use the discount.”
